Ah, birthdays. Some love ‘em, some hate ‘em, and some couldn’t care less. Ad 2 LOVES birthdays, and we get excited when it’s time to celebrate ours each year.

Here are the top reasons why we love birthdays – and you should too!

1. You are another year older and wiser. You learned how to cook something other than boxed mac & cheese? You traveled to a new place? Or, maybe you finally gave up wearing leggings as pants? Then you are definitely wiser than last year!


2. They bring people together. Friends, family, acquaintances, coworkers, and that childhood friend you haven’t talked to in five years – all come together to celebrate you and make your day special by showering you with love, affection, and treats (and write on your Facebook wall)!

3. Speaking of treats… delicious food – amirite?! But really, if you don’t like cake, you aren’t a real person.


4. It’s a time to be grateful. Grateful for friends and family, another day of life and another year of pretending to adult.

5. It’s a great excuse to throw a party. Which we plan to do. So, join us at our Birthday Bash on August 18 at the Great Dane in Hilldale to help us celebrate our 12th year of life. Anyone is welcome, so we hope you’ll party with us!
